Message posted to an online forum or mailing list [from Electronic source using APA 6th ed.]

Overview

Add [Online forum comment] after the title. No message identifier required. If it is a posting to an online mailing list add [Electronic mailing list message]. Note also the Re: before the subject, and that "Posted to" has been replaced with the more usual "Retrieved from".

Standard Form

Author, Initials. (year, month day). Re: Subject line of the message [Online forum comment] or[Electronic mailing list message]. Retrieved from web address
